NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

ATSC's National Championship Series (NCS) is the most prestigious and competitive contest for heavy-duty trucks. Five industry experts utilize an electronic, bias eliminating scoring system to judge competitors in various categories.

CLASSES

Competitors show their trucks as bobtails or combos.

JUDGES

Five hand selected industry experts make up the field of judges in the NCS.

SCORING

Each of the five judged categories contains subcategories. High and low scores awarded for each subcategory are dropped, and the remaining scores are averaged to produce a single score for each subcategory. Subcategory scores are then added together to generate a single score for each broad category. Category scores are then added together to yield a single TruckScore ranging from 0-100. Printed scorecards are distributed post event to NCS competitors.

DIVISIONS

Competitors enter in one of two divisions based on their truck mileage and usage – Elite Working or Limited For Show.

JUDGED CATEGORIES

Interior, Engine, Exterior, Wheels/Tires, Driver Presentation

WASH AND SHOW

ATSC's Wash and Show (WAS) is a low-pressure contest for heavy-duty trucks in which competitors judge each other's equipment in various exterior focused categories.

CLASSES

Competitors show their trucks as bobtails or combos.

JUDGES

Competitors themselves make up the field of judges in the WAS.

WILD CARD

For an additional fee, competitors may enter their Engine and/or Interior to be judged as a Wild Card in the National Championship Series.
