NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

The ATSC National Championship Series (NCS) is the trucking industry's most professional and competitive platform for custom builders, owner operators and fleets to show off their equipment. The ATSC draws its scoring method from subjectively judged events like the Olympics to sanction consistent and unbiased truck contests. The ATSC NCS is the first heavy-duty truck contest to utilize an electronic judging and scoring system, and feature a multi-event points chase.

CLASSES

Competitors show their trucks as bobtails or combos.

JUDGING

Using a mobile app, five industry experts individually score competitors in Interior, Engine, Exterior, Wheels/Tires, and Driver Presentation.

SCORING

Each judged category contains subcategories. For example, when judging Interior, judges individually score the Interior in Theme, Custom and Clean. The highest and lowest scores given for each subcategory are dropped, and the remaining scores are averaged for a single score. Points awarded for each subcategory are then summed to generate single scores for each broad category. Category scores are added together and yield a single TruckScore from 0-100. Printed scorecards are provided post event.

AWARD PLAQUES

Custom made award plaques are presented to first, second and third place winners for Interior, Engine, Exterior, Driver Presentation, and Best of Show.

POINTS

Competitors gain points based on their rank at each event. Competitors with the most points in their division are crowned National Champions at the last event of the season. To be eligible for a National Championship title, competitors must compete at all ATSC events for that season.

DIVISIONS

Competitors enter in one of two divisions – Elite Working or Limited For Show – based on their truck mileage and usage.

BEST OF SHOW

First place Best of Show winners receive our renowned custom made trophies and are invited to an exclusive photo and video shoot.

WASH AND SHOW

The ATSC Wash and Show (WAS) features a Competitor’s Choice style contest and exclusive product giveaway. This contest is a great option for those looking to show off their equipment in a low-pressure but competitive environment, connect with industry members and brands, and take advantage of the added value features associated with being an American Truck Show Circuit competitor.
