2017 marked the first year the largest Oklahoma City based Chrome Shop, Bells & Whistles, had a branded truck show – we were delighted to be involved with such a well run operation full of such good people. First year events are always stressful – especially when combined with a first year truck show series that’s really trying to separate themselves from the politically motivated judging systems that have existed until now and bring something new and exciting back to the industry (#maketruckinggreatagain). Leading up to any event (let alone a year one event) you never know how many people, trucks, sponsors are really going to come out, but when it came to this first year event, John and the crew at Bells & Whistles hit a home run. With Bells & Whistles based added value activities like day long concert performances on the Bandshell Stage including an epic set by Tony Justice, kids zone, DJs, giveaways throughout the day, food, and of course our ATSC Wash and Show Giveaway, Best of Show cash prizes, competitor meals, gift bags, and more  – this is not an event you want to miss in 2018. More than 70 trucks came out to the Oklahoma City State Fair Park to participate in the Oklahoma City Shootout and it made for one of the best events of 2017 guaranteed. The 2018 event is going down at the same facility on the last weekend of July. Mark your calendar because this isn’t an event you want to miss. Check out the Best of Show photos, video recap and results for the full scoop.
